Dr. Anil Piya is the pediatric endocrinologist at Children’s Endocrinology and Diabetes Center.
Dr. Piya completed a post-graduate residency training in pediatrics at the Bronx Lebanon Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York, and a post-graduate fellowship program in pediatric endocrinology at Children’s Hospital Colorado, University of Colorado School of Medicine, in Aurora, Colorado. Dr. Piya joined Memorial Health University Center, Savannah, Georgia in 2015. Dr. Piya served as a lead pediatric endocrinologist for the practice group for almost 5 years. Dr. Piya held an assistant professor title at Mercer University School of Medicine and had a teaching role for medical students and residents during this time.

Dr. Piya is an active member of the American Association of Physician Leadership, Pediatric Endocrine Society, Endocrine Society, American Diabetes Association, American Medical Association and Human Growth Foundation. 

Dr. Piya resides in Savannah, Ga with his wife Sruti and daughter, Avya. In his leisure time he enjoys cooking, traveling, fishing and nurturing family and friends.
